Technical Program Manager III, Platform Reliability, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience working with networking infrastructure in a Cloud environment.
• Experience with capacity planning.

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Ability to partner closely and work effectively with highly technical engineering teams.
• Ability to build strong partnerships, influence everyone from engineers to executive leadership, and align stakeholders.
• A strong sense of ownership and the ability to take vague, unstructured problems, frame a clear path forward, and execute methodically.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) who is passionate about Infrastructure and Reliability, who knows how to partner across multiple organizations (GCPR and its partner organizations such as capacity, networking), and who's looking to make GCP-wide impacts on Google Cloud’s production infrastructure.

• Demonstrate excellent organizational, facilitation and communication skills, consistently delivering results in dynamic and ambiguous situations.
• Manage various programs of work, engage teams and engineers, set the pace for project delivery while developing tactical plans and long term strategy for highly complex projects.
• Become a trusted advisor to decision makers providing valuable insights to the engineering teams, and influence product direction.
• Lead high-impact initiatives with AI first mindset to automate and reduce overall toil advocating the use of AI and agentic development to streamline TPM operations.
• Bring order to chaos and determine what needs to get done in an ambiguous, fluid environment.
